Welcome to another edition of the No Punches Pulled interview series. The series returns with former NYWC starlet champion Aria Cadenza.
RL: Were you a wrestling fan growing up? AC: Yes, my lityle brother and I would watch. We'd play wrestling too. I stopped watching when I was a teenager because it wasn't cool for girls to like wrestling. Then when I got to college I decided I didn't what was cool and why I started watching again.
RL: When did you decide to be a wrestler? AC: It was an NYWC show in 2013. Not sure which one, I saw Nikki Addams in a battle royal with all the boys and I pointed at her and said I want to be that girl. I want to do this!
RL: How did you discover the NYWC academy? AC: While at a show, I asked Braydon Knight how one becomes a wrestler and he told me about the school. JT Kasin told me about the initial show. We had a mutual friend and went tk Applebee's one night.
RL: What were your initial impressions of Mikey Whipwreck? AC: I was scared of him. I knew he was a wrestling legend. He terrified me.
RL: How hard was training? AC: Probably the hardest thing I've ever done in my life. I'm a fat girl! So many sit-ups and blow up drills. There were times I thought I would die but I didn't give up.
RL: What are your memories of being attacked by Apollyon & Bill Carr after you sang the national anthem? AC: Coolest thing ever. My parents were there and they were mortified. It was so much fun!

RL: What are your memories of debuting at Psycho Circus in 2014 in Joker's Wild battle royal? AC: I just remember being scared as hell. I'm not good at going over the tip rope and i was so scared I was going to break my neck! It was amazing though. I was hooked from that day forward.
RL: What are your memories of Crusher Doogan? AC: First impression was that he was scary. Vut then once I got to know him and he was nice and funny. He always had my back.
RL: What are your memories of Sammie Pickles? AC: She shit her pants during her first suplex. We still call it a poo-plex! She was a live wire and never knew what she'd do next.
RL: What are your memories of Debbie Kane? AC: We never got along but I appreciate the opportunity I had to wrestle her in my debut match.
RL: What are your memories of Marti Belle? AC: She's amazing, I remember she was my first match completely on the fly. I was so scared but she made me look better than she did that day. So much respect for all she taught me.
RL: What are your memories of Rick Cataldo? AC: I love him. I have a lot of memories with him because he would bring me on the road and take me to meet promoters. He taught me a lot aabout respect and introduced me to a person who made my gear! He taught me so much more than just how to wrestle.
RL: What are your memories of your match with Chrissy Rivera? AC: I've wrestled her so many times and always had so much fun. I love how she's so small and I'm so big. Playing size with her was great! She also took me to other promotions and helped me get my name out there.
RL: What are your memories of winning the NYWC starlet title from Britney Savage? AC: Probably my favorite wrestling memory ever. I've never felt more proud or accomplished.

RL: How did you end up in Mike Morgan's ACE Pro Wrestling? AC: I honestly don't remember. I just remember me and Pickles were the first women's match there in several years.
RL: What are you memories of Eris Rayne? AC: Our match waa fun. First time I was the "veteran" in a match. It was a lot of pressure but it wasn't horrible. I like her a lot as a person, I actually hired her to work for me!
RL: What are your memories of Sumie Sakai? AC: Totally legendary match! Wrestling with hwr was absolutely amazing. The language barrier was scary at first because I was so green and I couldn't stop thinking what if I mess up. But it was great! She kissed me! Hahaha.
RL: What are your memories of Nikki Addams? AC: I love this girl. She never gave up on me. She took me everywhere! We had an amazing Christmas caril battle before our championship march at Phoenix Pro. That's definitely my favorite memory.
RL: What are your memories of matches with Willow Nightengale? AC: So many. I wrestled her a million times. My favorite match was when she won the starler title. She really deserves it. I was proud to lose to her.
RL: How did you end up in Warriors Of Wrestling? AC: Nikki Addams. Again, this girl is the best. She brought me to train there occasionally and they ended up using me! So much fun.
RL: What were your impressions of Joey B.? AC: First impression was that he was very quiet. I didn't think he liked me because he didn't talk. But he gave me a chance so I'll always appreciate him and respect him for that.
RL: What are your memories of Terra Callaway? AC: I lover her too. She's big! I'm big! When we wrestled each other...we wrestled! It was the best.
RL: What are your memories of Brooke Danielle? AC: Before I wrestled her she took amazing pictures. She was fun to work with even though I didn't wrestle her more than once.
RL: What are your memories of your match with Deonna Purazzo in D2W? AC: Amazing. Purazzo is an amazing wrestler. She always had great ideas and worked to make us look so good. Our matches were exciting and fun.
RL: At what point did you decide to give wrestling up? AC: When I got married, my husband & I started trying to conceive right away. So I announced my retirement in hopes I'd be pregnant soon. I was pregnant a few weeks later.
