Welcome to another edition of the No Punches Pulles interview series. In this installment, it is NYWC referee Jumboman James McGrady.
RL: What are your memories of the first match you refereed on a ahow? JM: Very nervios kind of was just thrown in the ring because I just walked into SWA and they said they need a ref and bam. I never made much money off wrestling. The most I mase was 80 bucks and then when I went to other places with Johnny Molloy. Other Ethan that been the hot dog and handshake gimmick. I don't know why I never ask. But if I take my own booking I make money.
RL: What are your memories of Little Monster Binky? JM: Gives it her all everytime. We had class in SWA. Now she's like a sister to me.
RL: What are your memories of Lexa Rose & Trigger? JM: Love them. Trigger is a great man. A lot of people underestimate him. And look out he can shock you. Lexa funny loving also hard worker.
RL: What are your memories of Kash Ramirez? JM: Helped me out also in SWA. Also gave me a show of VPW and ECPW. Thank you.

RL: At what point did you realize you get the business as well as when you felt secure about your place as a referee? JM: I really started to get "it" after about 2 years or so doing it and talking to the guys in the back on what to do better as a ref and where to be and what not.

RL: How did you end up refereeing for Jac Savboth's ICW? JM: Well my Dad found out about his store. Went to check it out, told him that I ref and I started working the DVD table for him. I really grinded my teeth in ICW and worked my way up to Redding. Wish I did more.
RL: What are your memories of Danny Demanto? JM: Ah only worker with him a few times.
RL: How did you end up reffing for NYWC as well as Mike Magnum's Full Faith Wrestl8ng? JM: I ended up Redding for NYWC after SWA kind of went out of business. I started to train with NYWC. So then I got a night job. Could not make it to class. But still wanted to be a part of SWA. I love them for the big opportunites they gave me. Magnum was one of the head trainers for SWA showes me how to wrestle then I got hurt and wanted to ref. He took me under his wing. Love Jim. Also gratefrul for him and the people he put me to work with. Thank you Mike.
