Welcome to another addition of the No Punches Pulled interview series. This month it's "The Greek God" Papadon.
RL: Were you a wrestling fan growing up? P: Yes I was. I was a big fan of the WWF but I was a huge fan of NWA(Jim Crockett Promotions) I loved wathing them Saturday nights on TBS.
RL: When did you decide to be a wrestler? P: I chose to get into wrestling after finishing college. I didn't want to be 50 or 60 years old saying should of could of would of, so I found out about the Doghouse and got my education in wrestling.

RL: How did you end up in the LIWF Doghouse? P: Originally I wanted to go to Killer Kawolski's school but couldn't find an address. One day I saw a magazine that had a guide to the indies and saw the LIWF and saw they were in NY and decided to check it out.
RL: What were your initial impressions of Bobby Lombardi? P: He was a straight shooter and a real nice guy. He never sugar coated anything and told me how tough the wrestling business will be. Overall meeting and working for Bobby was an honor and I'm glad to say that because of him I was able to follow and live ny dream.

RL: What are your memories of Homicide? P: He is the godfather of the Doghouse. The general. He is a tough SOB and a tremendous trainer and wrestler. From day one he took me under his wing and taught me everything he knows. We had a tremendous ladder match and feud in LIWF. I am fortunate to have had him as my trainer and as a friend.
RL: What are your memories of Laithon? P: He was a unique individual he was one of the best big men I have ever seen. Unfortunately we didn't see eye to eye from time to time, but all that is water under the bridge. It's a shame that he was such a talented wrestler with such a bad attitude because I feel he could of made it to WWE if he just had a better attitude.

RL: What are your memories of Boogalou? P: He's a tremendous and underrated talent. He's also a real tough SOB. He is a brawler who can amateur wrestle and grapple with the best of them. He was a 2 time Florida state amateur champion if I'm not mistaken. I've had some great matches with him both singles and tag. He's the godfather of the man up tour.
RL: What are your memories of Lo Rida? P: He's funny as hell because he doesn't give a f@%k, if you piss him off you're in trouble. He's a naturally gifted competitor and I have had some fun matches with him and Boogalou or him and Eddie Guapo through the years.

RL: What are your memories of Grim Reefer? P: He's the only other person from my class from the Doghouse that still wrestles today. He's an awesome high flyer who likes to fly high...I have had some good matches with him all over and he is very innovative.
RL: What are your memories of Azrieal? P: He's an awesome wrestler who really is a good guy...lol. Actually we have some very good chemistry in our matches and I hope to face him again in the future. In my opinion the second best student to come out of the Doghouse behinde me....

RL: What are your memories of Havok? P: My former tag team partner and my brother from another mother. As The Solution we dominated and had lots of fun winning 8 tag team titles for 8 different companies. I enjoyed hanging and banging with Havok & John Shane up and down the road and I really enjoyed teaming with Havok. Who knows, if Pro Wrestling/Sports Entertainment had more love for tag teams maybe we would be on TV right now. Teaming with Havok made me a better wrestler and I will always be grateful to that.

My browser somehow logs me out when I attempt to put up a bunch of Q's & A's at one time. I'll definitely get all of this interview up before choosing the next one.

RL: What are your memories of Hit Squad? P: They are my favorite tag team that I ever had the honor of wrestling. We had some great people got their monies worth. Hit Squad had that "it" factor and we had that "natural heat" aura about us that led to a great mixture. They helped us get into JCW and we had an amazing match at the Elk's Lodge in Queens where we got a standing ovation after the match.

RL: What are your memories od Low-Ki? P: He's a wrestler's wrestler, he's so talented and so focused at times it's unreal. I had fun wrestling him and we had good chemistry in the ring too. I had fun training with him and Homicide at the Doghouse. He is the purist form on pro wrestling. Discipline, Honor, and Respect.

RL: What are your memories of Dirty Rotten Scoundrels? P: Very charismatic tag team. The Solution & DRS had some awesome matches in the past. I hope they got their act together and learn from their mistakes(and boy there are a lot of them) and they become focused on wrestling because if they don't then it is a waste of talent.
RL: What are your memories of Christopher Street Connection? P: They were really over for two pillow biters. They were very entertaining and had a good run. I enjoyed our matches and was a little skeeved out at times because of the way they would look at Havok & I. We didn't know if they wanted to fight or shag...but either way we had good entertaining matches. Actually one of my favorite matches was a 3 way match between CSC, DRS, & Solution in USA pro..a real classic.
RL: What are your memories of Eddie Guapo? P: He's an underrated competitor and a great talker. He never sugar coats anything. He is a straight shooter. I enjoy the Knuckle Dusters he formed with Boogalou and I see a future for them.
RL: What are your memories of Lowlife Louie Ramos? P: He's the man. If everyone was like Louie in this business, the business would be better off. We had a 30 minute match at the Doghouse that we both enjoyed and beating him gave me my first title ever(LIWF TV title). The only man that I know that beat peolpe with a barbed wire dildo...His matches with J Lover in JAPW early in my career were some of the sickest things I ever saw.

RL: What are your memories of Jac Sabboth's Impact Championship Wrestling? P: I had fun working for Jac. Had some fun matches in ICW and the Doghouse took over a portion of the Elk's Lodge and it became our locker room when we did his shows and Frank Goodman's shows. Also, Jac never stiffed us on pay...he was always straight with Havok and I and treated us good.
RL: What are your memories of Boogie Knights? P: They are awseome. We had a great feud with them and had fun kicking the crap out of them in the their Karate Kid Cobra Kai gear...lol. I had fun wrestling them.

RL: What are your memories of Matt Striker? P: Great wrestler and commentator. I had fun wrestling him and he's a real student of the game. Has a ton of knowledge and skill. He's the only man who can pull off wearing dirty Timberland boots and swears and still look like he's on the cover of GQ. He is jealous of me because I'm better looking...lol.
RL: What are your memories of Danny Demanto & Kevin Matthews? P: They are knuckleheads that have come a long way...had fun kicking the crap out of them over and over again.
RL: What are your memories of Valentina? P: Cool girl.
RL: What are your memories of Xtacy? P: Cool chick who managed us in ICW.
RL: What are your memories of Julius Smokes? P: He's the most charismatic performer I've ever seen. He's like Dusty Rhodes. We had some good matches and he has a sick piledriver. He is the epitome of old school wrestling.

RL: What are your memories of Wrecka? P: Wrecka was cool, but he was a kiss ass too.
RL: What are your memories of Bison Bravado? P: Bison is a cool dude. I have had fun riding up and down the road with him on road trips.
RL: What are your memories of Tekno Heat & Devious? P: Good guys, had some great on the fly matches with them in USAPW when I was in the Solution.
RL: What arer your memories of Elm Street Kids? P: Cool peeps that needed real wrestling gear. they party like rock stars and like to throw furniture into the pool...
RL: What are your memories of Damien Dragon & Foxy Dreams? P: They are cool people. Damien & I have great chemistry and really enjoy the matches we had. He is very talented and underrated.
RL: What are your memories of Crazy Ivan? P: He is a cool dude that had tons of heat because of what he said in the ring.
