Super 8 is not what it used to be. I remember so many that were in the tournament over the years that went on to blow up in the sport. I'm not just referring to those who won it over the years.

While I only 1/2 understand your semi vague "not what it used to be" point,ANY brand doesn't last(& stay valuable/relevant unlike certain others)47 YEARS if it doesn't know what it's doing. Super 8 is STILL the most prestigious tournament in the sport. Also unlike more highly publicized brands(WWE/"impact"ROH/CZW,etc.)ecwa values womens wrestling by having a ladys division & staying mostly family friendly.(like chikara which pays off best when you represent ALL age groups) Paul London is FWE tri-borough champ now, Kendrick started his own school, Papadon is hot in ICW, Shelley went on to become gaijin tag specialist, Danielson became "best in the "world",etc. Will agree that some who never won super 8 self-destructed their careers.
