Ford just can’t seem to get the door handles right on their cars. A recent recall of select Fiestas, Fusions and Lincoln MKZs affects 390,000 vehicles. It’s Ford’s third recall regarding door latches this year. A 213,000 unit recall was issued in March and a 205,000 unit recall was issued in January. According to Ford, the problem is a tiny spring inside the door latch assembly that could cause the door to open without warning even when it is latched properly. Two drivers reported that their car door literally hit them on the way out when they tried to shut the door after exiting the vehicle. A third owner reported that his car door opened while he was parking causing damage to a neighboring vehicle.

1)welcome to nywc forum (every forum could use more female feedback)) 2)And yet some americans still wonder how & why other countries surpass us on just about every area we USED to lead in. Reading this doesn't surprise me because i liken this to healthcare subject in sense that with multi-millions raised over DECADES and yet we STILL don't have a SINGLE cure for anything?! (only a naive person wouldn't see how the drug companies/FDA wouldn't sustain a multi-billion dollar a year industry if no one stayed sick and made to depend on artificial drugs that come with side effects.
