Welcome to another edition of No Punches Pulled. This time it's with former NYWC tag team champion Boogalou.
RL: Were you a wrestling fan growing up?
B: Yes.
RL: When did you decide you were going to be a wrestler?
B: When I lost my wrestling scholarship to West Virgina Tech, I decided to go pro.
RL: What were your initial impressions of Johnny Rodz?
B: I was excited to meet a man whose style I admired growing up.
RL: How hard was the training?
B: Very hard because at the time myself and Damien Dragon were the smallest wrestlers in the school. At the time, Johnny focused on heavyweights more so I had to constantly work harder to stand out.
RL: Is it true you were in the same class with Prince Nana, Damien Dragon, Lo Rida, & Matt Striker?
B: No, Damien & Nana started before me and Striker was in the class with Lo Rida.
RL: How did you & Damien come up with the name Natural Born Killers?
B: We actually didn't, Jac Sabboth did.
RL: What were your inital impressions of Frank Godman?
B: The worst wrestler I ever saw.
RL: What are your memories of matches with Boogie Knights?
B: Always fun, but they were always scared to start.
RL: What are your memories of Big Dick Dudley?
B: Very good guy, easy to wrestle also a pleasure to work with R.I.P.
RL: What are your memories of King Kong Bundy?
B: Him wanting to kick Damien's ass for cursing on the microphone.
RL: What are your memories of Tim Arson?
B: Tim is a real funny guy, but him beating up Camacho in a taxi always stands out.
RL: I wonder who Camacho is. What were your initial impression of LIWF/DPW?
B: Glorified backyarders with very little talent. They were what we didn't want to be at Gleason's.
RL: What were your initial impressions of meeting Homicide?
B: Being told by Goodman that LIWF people were in the building and if we needed to to take them out not knowing we had already spoken.
RL: What are your memories of Laithon?
B: Impressive for his size, moved like a light heavyweight.
RL: What were your initial impression of Jac Sabboth?
B: Good person, bad businessman.
RL: Who came up with the name Psycho Circus(group consisting of Boogalou, Lo Rida, & Little Psycho)?
B: That was Lo Rida.
RL: What are your memories of Danny Demanto?
B: Hitting him with a chair until he cried, slapping him, being resilant enough to make a career for himself. He's come a long way.
RL: He has indeed. What are your memories of Kevin Matthews?
B: His first day of training he dressed like Jeff Hardy and had 8x10s.
RL: What are your memories of SAT/Red?
B: Funny guys. Too abusive to Quiet Storm and not a fan of their choreographed style.
RL: How did you & Homicide come up with the name Natural Born Sinners?
B: He came up with it, I suggested America's Most Wanted.
RL: What are your memories of facing The Hit Squad just days after 9/11?
B: Knocking out Dan Maff.
RL: What are your memories of Divine Storm?
B: Divine sharting on a double stomp. It was a shitty situation.
RL: What are your memories of facing Sandman & Balls Mahoney?
B: We couldn't do anything hardcore because of the commision and Sandman couldn't wrestle out of a paper bag.
RL: What are your memories of wrestling Tom Marquez & Homicide on the same night in ICW?
B: Marquez none, Homicde, our first time working so it was fun and stiff.
RL: What are your memories of teaming with Low-Ki vs. Xaiver & Devine?
B: Clusterfuck. Xavier wanted to dominate and it didn't work out that way.
RL: What are your memories of winning the ICW tag team title?
B: The company closing the next day.
RL: What are your memories of Mike Kruel?
B: No charisma, solid worker.
RL: What are your memories of Devastation Inc in JAPW?
B: I don't know who that was.
RL: What are your memories of Crazy Ivan?
B: Funny guy. Always wanted to do too much.
RL: What are your memories of The Sheik(not the late Ed Farhat)?
B: Who?
RL: What are your memories of matches with Carnage Crew in ROH?
B: Stiff, solid, bloody.
RL: What are your memories of Matches with FBI?
B: Great technical matches. Both excellent workers.
RL: Is it true that ROH stopped booking you because you of XPW?
B: No. I was the scapegoat for other people who wanted to make deals with XPW. People were offered deals with XPW which at the time seemed lucrative. But I was the only one man enough to call Gabe Sapolsky and inform him I was taking the deal. The others said they were coming and in the end backed out.
RL: What were your initial impressions of XPW & Rob Black?
B: XPW was the most money up front. The best production crew and had potential had they walked before they ran. They wanted too much too soon.
RL: Who came up with the name Dead Presidents?
B: XPW officials.
RL: How did you & Lo Rida react when XPW folded?
B: Disappointed. It was a lot of fun.
