This show kicked ass! I thought Mav/Josh was a great opener. A lot of us were let down that it went to a draw. NFL/Rednex was a fun match. Is it me or are the Rednex improving? I was shocked by what happened to Dirty Cherry in that match. Dan/Braggiol was a pretty good match and I was surprised Dan got the win. Papadon/Storm 2 was good and I'd like to see a rubber match. The heavyweight title was good and it appears that King Mega is on a path of rage. Syther/Stevens was good and both men really got to showcase what they can do. The interstate title was OK. I'm still waiting for Maxwell to get away from Reynolds. The hi-fi title I enjoyed. It not only sucks that Dan Eckos interfered, Bruno pinned Rob twice and then you have a DQ. The tag title match was more chaotic then I expected. Michael Mansfield got in jdawg's face when he was right near us. Of course everyone was let down when it wouldn't be a cage match.
Personal Notes How's this for a laugh? In the taxi with me & unofficialartist were 2 people going to the VPW show.
It was nice meeting smokey3angie & tonyfirehazard.
It was also nice meeting some Facebook friends.
If any non-members read this, please join and voice your opinion on this great company we know as NYWC.
Please come back myowntigereyes.
*in my best Paul Heyman voice* Big up to Mikey Whipwreck for refereeing the main event. I think he was the only one who could've controlled that chaos.
Larry Legend fucking rules! He's the best ring announcer since Nick Vrona. It was cool of him to talk with me, jdawg, scooterdust, & unofficialartist after the show.
I sure hope Dirty Cherry isn't seriously injured after getting torture racked.
It was nice talking to Crusher Doogan after the show.
Some of us chanted "fuck the refund" after hearing that the main event was going to be a House Of Madness match.
I'd like to know the attendance number for this show.
Due to a short intermission, I didn't get to pass out flyers for the board. Ladies and gentlemen, jdawg will not be at next week's show. For those of you that are going, can I sit with any of you?

My thoughts (randomly ordered):
Before the Maverick/Josh Daniels match, Larry Legend announced a 30-minute time limit, not 20, which left me and the people around me wondering what the heck was going on when the match was called a time-limit draw. Epic fail on your first bit, Larry!
Former ring announcer Joe Graves standing against the wall looked like he really did not want to be there. Then again, he looked like that when he announced too.
Nearly 12 hours later and I am still traumatized from the sight of Dirty Cherry's buttcrack.
Dirty Moore made a good point.... the Rednex do seem to get placed against hispanic/african american opponents alot.... I guess that's a play on their redneck characters.
I doubt Maxwell Belvedere will ever grow a pair and separate from Alex Reynolds unless Dan Dynasty comes back.
I was sitting next to Dan Eckos' girlfriend. I think her & the friend she came with were at their first NYWC show. As Eckos came by, I yelled out YOU SUCK!! His girlfriend turns to me with a shocked look and her friend answers... I guess your boyfriend is supposed to be a bad guy.
Dirty Moore once again answered YOU SWALLOW when I told him he sucked. He needs a new line, it was only funny the first time.
Papadon & Quiet Storm was again an epic match. These are 2 of the best pure wrestlers in NYWC, and I would love to see them square off in a submission match.
The guy in the wheelchair sitting by me told Big Daddy Haystacks he was blocking his view. Big Daddy came over to the corner and stood directly in front of him and asked how's the view now? That's what you get for complaining. Good heel bit, Big Daddy.
I was very P.O.'ed at the fact that Smokey3Angie's group of 9-10 people were allowed to enter the building first ahead of about 15-20 of us who were waiting longer at the front of the line. Especially since they took the front row on my preferred side of the ring. I'd like Mr Curse or Mr Londos to offer an explanation.
Eddie Guapo was hanging outside before the show with All Money Is Legal, and had gear. I was kind of hoping he was going to be a part of the show.
The main event was great. Mikey did a great job officiating and although I don't like them, I had to applaud the Celtic Saints for winning.

AWESOME SHOW! I don't even know where to start. I'm pretty sure the only thing I didn't like was the 5 minutes of crap with Bruno and Rob Eckos. I was pretty disappointed that there was no cage match but I think the match that happened last night was more entertaining than a cage match could've been. I thought it was pretty funny how after all was and done, no one had a seat to sit in. By the way, I left with a Coors Light cake tin. My goal will be to get this loaded with signatures over the next few times I go... On a side note, Dirty Moore spit his gum on my shoe after I said nice JD and asked for a high 5. 2 of my friends got Tony Burma's blood on their face and mouth. Boy do I love front row, it has been a while... On another note, when Papadon was about to yell,"THREE!!!" I yelled it and he just paused confused and stared at me. Me and my section were laughing our asses off. Can't wait till the next time NYWC goes to Deer Park because Queens and Port Jeff is too far

Wow. What an awesome show.
Top to bottom, one of the better NYWC shows, right under Straps and Ladders.
Maverick/Daniels was a good opener. Larry botches the time limit, but in his first offical NYWC night, I'll forgive him (especially since after the show, I'll explain later).
Bruno/Eckos, I called the second fall after the first one. I thought a third fall was going to happen, but a DQ ending was ok. Not great....just ok.
Braggiol shouldn't have jobbed, plain and simple, especially an Eckos brother!
The Main Event:
What a match! Mikey is still the sick bastard we all know and love. I'm disappointed with where the match ended. It was a bit underwhelming with all the action that happened before. Hopefully, BTR gets the belts back.
We met Ryan Rush's father, as he had a whole section for him. He introduced himself, almost like "hey, that was my son who bled on you."
The situation with Larry; it looks like I might be Larry's ride to the Deer Park shows, so I'm getting my foot in the door.
BTW...Unofficialartist...awesome to meet you....we'll be in contact.
Again..great show..great fans...NYWC is growing...as the standing room showed that....can NYWC take a bigger venue soon? Only time will tell.

Just as others have already said, this show was awesome. To jones44, next time Cherry's butt crack is showing don't look at it. She may not be the best looking, but she's not the ugliest either. It seems like everyone likes the new ring announcer Larry Legend.

Another great show by NYWC. Like Robert, I'd like to know how many were in attendance. Am I alone when I say that the show ran a little longer than usual?

The show ran longer because the bell time was 8 PM, not 7 like in the Spring/Summer. It did seem long. The one thing I don't want is NYWC to suffer from Frank Goodman syndrome.

I don't think it will end up like UXW. I remember when Goodman's shows would end at 1AM. Once the shows go back to 7PM in October, I don't think the shows will go later than usual.

You had the choice not to look at it. Haystacks & Jethro should at least kneel down when they're at ringside. They blocked our view as well. I don't understand why smokey & friends got in before you jones. Perhaps Curse or Londos will eventually explain why.
