The 1st thing I'd like to say is what happened to the people who came to the July show? I guess they had something else planned. I was a bit let down that Rob Eckos wasn't there. Braggiol/Mav/Bruno vs. Eckos/Papadon/Maxwell was a decent opener. Francis/AMIL vs. HS was a fun match. Rodz/Lemer vs. Rednex was good and it's good to see Lemer back in the ring. Az/Benny was a good match and I'm glad Azrieal is in NYWC. Braggiol/Bruno/Mav vs. HS did good in their match. Jethro vs. Syther was quite a fun match and I say more Jethro in the ring please. The tag team title was getting good until the Saints left the ring. It looked like Quiet Storm had a chance to become champion again. The 3 way main event was great and for the 1st time ever Mav & Braggiol butted heads in NYWC.
For those of you who missed the show here are the results:
Joey Braggiol, Maverick, & Bruno Marciano def. Maxwell Belvedere, Dan Eckos, & Papadon
High Society def. Francis Kipland Stevens & All Money Is Legal
Dickie Rodz & Jamie Van Lemer def. Dirty Rednex
Azrieal def. Benny Martinez
Braggiol, Maverick, & Marciano def. High Society
Jethro def. Syther
Tag Team Title
Big Time Rush def. Celtic Saints by count out
Heavyweight Title
King Mega def. Quiet Storm to retain the title
Maverick def. Marciano & Braggiol to become #1 contender to the heavyweight title
Personal Notes
It was nice meeting metsfan.
Thank you scooterdust for driving me to the train.
It seems that scooterdust is becoming a heat magnet for the heals.
That one lady who was selling food was starting to get into some of the matches. She was calling Braggiol "tubby".
King Mega & company did a number on Mav, Bruno, Braggiol, & Big Time Rush at the end of the show.
I sure hope Maverick isn't seriously injured after being put through a table by Mega.
Once again I failed to pass out flyers to push this board.
Quote of the night:
"Nice tramp stamp Dirty Moore." Scooterdust
"You were looking at it? That's sad!" me in response
Does Syther have some type of addiction or obsession with Dirty Cherry's butt? This is the 2nd time he bit it. He also spanked it.
I don't know about the rest of you, but it seemed pointless to have Spyder in his gear since he didn't have a match and didn't get involved in Benny's match with Azrieal.
Also, Stockade had his gear and I'm glad he got to gore Jethro.
I'd like to see Stockade back in solo competition.
I sure hope the next show makes a good impression on the fans in Queens as well as any other fans coming that live in the other 4 boroughs of NYC.
