Fellow Board Members,
I've finally made the decision to start training at the NYWC Academy. I'm hoping to start in November (if the money is there, which it should be so I can afford it). I've already started a workout regimen that involves alot of cardio, and leg work.
And I'm looking into having some gear made (although I'm a long way off from that).
I'm also brainstorming possible gimmicks in a little notebook (again, long way off, I don't expect to get in the ring, and be the greatest, no way).
In fact, there's a pretty good chance that with my build and look that I won't get far beyond NYWC, but I'm chasing the dream I've had since I was a boy.
But I'm doing it, and I wanted to let you guys know, the NYWC community, and more importantly my friends, that I am doing this for myself, but also for you guys too, because I wouldn't have the NYWC without you guys.

A little advice for you Mr. Dust.
Don't worry about getting gear made and don't worry about a gimmick or any of that stuff.
Worry about listening to your instructors and absorbing as much information as you can. Once the technical ability is there you can start to worry about what type of personality and look you'd like to have.
But as always, the choice is yours. I'm just offering my "expert" opinion.
best of luck.

Like I said, Mikey, I'm way off from that stuff. I just like to run through ideas, nothing more. Keeps me busy during my down time.
