The hi-fi title match was a decent opener and I think Eckos is proving to be a worthy champion. The 6 man tag was fun. Crowley/Matias was a bona fide squash and it seems that Crowley has picked a fight with Joey Braggiol. The Dirtys had a little picnic during(what they deemed) the #1 contenders match between BTR & Celtic Saints. The body bag match was great and 6 count them 6 cinderblocks came into play. Knuckle Dusters made short work of Spyder & Manny and I was surprised to see Julius Smokes come out. The WSU title match was cool and I'd like to see women's matches in NYWC more often. Papadon/Bruno was a good match. Benny/Silver vs. Reynolds/Josh was good and I wonder why Dickie Rodz didn't wrestle. Also, Reynolds has acquired the managerial services of Prince Charles. The heavyweight title had something missing in my opinion. The pier six brawl with many members of the roster at the end was something I didn't expect to see.
Results:
Dan Eckos def. Quiet Storm to retain hi-fi title
Francis Kipland Stevens & All Money Is Legal def. Chris "Pain" Forza, "Flawless" Blake Morris, & "Hot Shot" Mike Reed
"Genocide Junkie" Daemon Crowley def. Matias
Big Time Rush def. Celtic Saints
Stockade def. Syther in the body bag match
Knuckle Dusters def. Naturally Fly Latinos
Mercedes Martinez def. Sumie Sakai to retain the WSU title
Papadon def. Bruno Marciano
Benny Martinez & Big John Silver def. "Yours Truly" Alex Reynolds & Josh Daniels
Maverick def. Tony Mamaluke to retain the heavyweight title
Personal Notes I'm glad Atlas Security is back at the shows.
I noticed one of them told someone to get out after he caught him throwing something and yet the guy wasn't ejected.
I brought a megaphone to the show.
It seems some of the people sitting around me enjoyed some of the things I said into the megaphone.
Someone brought a little airhorn to the show.
It seems a lot of people left after the body bag match.
I wonder why Chris Kanyon wasn't at the show.
*sheds tear* It looks like I won't be able to go to When The Smoke Clears.

First half of the show was great, but the 2nd half was horrible, main event , they were messing up/missing kicks/making moves look horrible. The Body Bag match was great! should have been the main event . The Security was a waste of money , so let me get this staight we cant throw anything in the ring(even know i have never did anything) but the wrestlers can throw things at me, beef jerky, larry threw the coupon at me , and other random things. And i think the big fight at the end was not planned, i think it had to had for people to come to the next show because the 2nd half of this show was horrible.

Hey everyone! I hope everyone who attended enjoyed themselves at the NYWC's Aftermath last night. I sure did! One thing I can say in all honestly is, working roughly 4 or 5 different promotions pretty steadily throughout the year can sometimes be a taxing task. I really do it because I love it, but at the end of the day we all have lives outside of the industry that require certain sacrifices to realize at least part of a dream, or in my case, to take back control of this ride called life and truly do what I want to do. What makes it for me when it comes to hosting wrestling shows for different groups are two things. The locker room and the fans. Lots of times the wrestling matches themselves can be stellar or maybe even not so stellar. Depending where I am it varies...however, so far in the little bit of time I've been with the NYWC the one constants have been a truly solid group of workers and a totally fantastic fan base. I truly feel like a million dollars after EVERY NYWC showcase and it's for that reason that I'm still up at 5:30am after one of those very showcases still on cloud nine from the events that transpired just a few short hours ago. I am so elated to be apart of the REINVENTION of professional wrestling as we know it. From the bottom of my LEGENDARY heart I want to thank every fan that came out to support the cause tonight and every individual from that locker room that supports the brand and the product that so many of you care about enough to follow and enjoy with your hard earned money. Thank you for being you, and thank you for letting me share in the magic. Lets keep up the good work. Truly, LEGEND!!! By the way....Larry Legend is open to all queries comments and just general chat now that I'm in the virtual building. Like my favorite worker of all time. The Big Bossman a.k.a Bigg Bubba Rogers a.k.a Ray Traylor. My favorite workers to announce currently. Devon Moore and Ruckus. Peace

The last match was embarassing. First Mamaluke has the build of a 12 year old boy. Secondly he has zero talent. Moves were missed repeatedly. I would have rather seen any other wrestler as Maverick's first title defense.
Welcome Larry. You are the man!

I actually think this was a better show than the Psycho Circus to be honest minus the Main Event. Last nights Main Event was embarrassing and kinda soured the whole card. I hope we never see Kanyon and Marmaduke again. NWYC has done a great job developing young talent the past year and a half. Keep that focus and forget the old has beens. The Body Bag match definitely should have ended the show.
Can't understand how the arena was half empty again??? You would think they would be more carry over from the Psycho Circus. I've been watching NYWC for 5 years and its always the same ever year. I don't get it. Some of the matches they have had the past year would be up there and beyond the matches by WWE, TNA, ROH. Next year they should cap the number of tickets for the Psycho Circus show at a number where everyone has a seat and bump up the ticket price to make up the difference. I hate that casual or once a year fans got seats and I had to stand the whole time.
Random thoughts: Was Mike Spinelli at the show? Anyone know why he stopped wrestling?
Does Mason Rage still wrestle?
I think the Master of the Matt should be a trophy and be defended in 3 ways dances on a regular basis.

I've been away from NYWC since around when Plazma signed, but they got me back with this year's Psycho Circus.
Last night was a pretty good show. Some of the matches weren't the best, but it was still a lot of fun. I love Eckos, he's awesome. Also, what happened to Rob? I saw him on an ROH pre-show last year, but I haven't seen him since. Crowley totally looked like a monster. The body bag match was ridiculous. Poor Syther, holy shit. I used to hate Papadon back when he was one half of the Solution, but he's surprisingly awesome with the Greek God gimmick. I popped huge for Smokes, awesome surprise. It was a treat finally getting to see Sumie Sakai live. The main event was surprisingly lackluster. Mamaluke just didn't look good, which was a shame, since I've always liked the guy.
Yeah, sorry for the paragraph of random statements, but meh. Overall it was a fun show.
I figure I'll just ask here, forgive me if any of these are common knowledge, but what are the whereabouts of: Rob Eckos Referee Andre Oscar(I feel like I saw him on a few PWU card recently) The Angus Brothers Lo Ryda
Beesin, I may be wrong, but I'm pretty sure after being in OVW, Raige set some kind of goal for himself, didn't meet it, and got out of the business, or something like that. I heard Bryan Alvarez talking about it awhile ago.

I heard Bryan Alvarez talking about it awhile ago. Rob Eckos canceled his booking at the last minute on 2 shows in a row and we decided to stop booking him. Ref Andre left the business to spend more time with his family Oscar wasn't happy with how his character was being used so looked for work elsewhere The Angus Brothers stopped training and no showed twice so we stopped booking them as well. Low Ryda - Moved down south Mike Spinelli - Retired but was at the show last night visiting.

One thing I forgot to mention at the start of this topic, why are the seats tied together? It doesn't give people enough room to get up and move around and what not.

Robert, the Fire Marshall requires that the seats be tied together in sections. Apparently it prevents people from picking up chairs and throwing them.
We are addressing the overcrowding issue with the Psycho Circus next year to prevent the severe over-crowding issue we had this year.
Feel free to ask any "respectful" questions here. I'll do my best to answer as honestly as possible.
