I begged Papadon to send me the entire interview on FB so I dont have to wait for Robert to post it little by little.
Were you a wrestling fan growing up? -Yes I was, I was a big fan of the WWF but I was a huge fan of the NWA(Jim Crockett Promotions). I loved watching them on the superstation TBS on Saturday night.
At what point in time you chose to get into wrestling? -I chose to get into wrestling when I graduated college. I said that I didn't want to be 50 or 60 years old and say should of could of would of, so I found out about the Doghouse and got my education in Pro-Wrestling.
How did you end up at LIWF Doghouse? -Originally I wanted to go to Killer Kowalski's school but couldn't find an address. One day I saw a wrestling magazine that had a guide to the indies and saw the LIWF and saw they were in NY and decided to check it out.
Initial impressions of Bobby Lombardi? - He was a straight shooter and a real nice guy. He never sugar coated anything and told me how tough the wrestling business will be. Overall meeting & working for Bobby was an honor and I'm glad to say that because of him I was able to follow and live my dream.
Memories of Homicide? -Homicide is the godfather of the Doghouse. The general. He ia a tough S.O.B and a tremendous trainer and wrestler. From day one he took me under his wing and taught me everything he knows. We had a tremendous ladder match and feud in the LIWF. I am fortunate to have had him as my trainer and as a friend.
Memories of Laithon? -Laithpn was a unique individual, he was one of the best big men I have ever seen. Unfortunately we didn't see eye to eye from time to time, but all that is water under the bridge. Its a shame that he was such a talented wrestler with such a bad attitude because I feel he could of made it to the WWE if he just had a better attitude.
Memories of Boogalou? - Boogalou is a tremendous and underrated talent. He also is a real tough S.O.B. He is a brawler who can amateur wrestle & grapple with the best of them. He was a 2 time Florida state amateur wrestling champion if I am not mistaken. I have had some great matches with him both singles and tag. He is the godfather of the man up tour.
Memories of Lo Rida? -Lo Rida is funny as hell b/c he doesn't give a f@%k, if you piss him off you are in trouble. He is a naturally gifted competitor and I have had some fun matches w/ him and Boogalou or him and Guapo through out the years.
Memories of Reefer? -Reefer is the only other person from my class from the Doghuse that still wrestles today. He is an awesome high-flyer who like to fly high.... I have had some good matches with him all over and he is very innovative individual. Memories of Azrieal? -Azrieal is an awesome wrestler who really is a good guy.....lol. Actually Az and I have very good chemistry in our matches and I hope to face him again in the future. In my opinion the second best student to come out of the Doghouse behind me.....
Memories of Havok? -My former tag partner and my brother from another mother. As the Solution we dominated and had lots of fun winning 8 tag team titles for 8 different companies. I enjoyed hanging and banging w brother Havok & John Shane up and down the road and I really enjoyed teaming with Havok. Who knows, if Pro-Wrestling/Sports Entertainment had more love for tag team wrestling maybe we would be on TV right now... Teaming with Havok made me a better wrestler and I will always be grateful fo that.
Memories of Hit Squad? -They are my favorite tag team that i ever had the honor of wrestling. We had some great matches throughout NY and NJ. Every time we stepped in the ring together we tore it up and the people got their monies worth. THS had that "it" factor and we had that "natural heel'" aura about us that led to a great mixtue. They helped get us into JCW and we had an amazing match in the Elks Lodge on Queens Blvd where Havok and I got a standing ovation after the match.
Memories of Low-Ki? -Low-Ki is a wrestlers wrestler, he is so talented and so focused at times that it is unreal. I had fun wrestling him and we had good chemistry in the ring too. I had fun training with him and Homicide at the Doghouse. He is purist form of Pro-Wrestling. Discipline, Honor, & Respect.
Memories of DRS? -Very charismatic tag team. The Solution and the DRS had some awesome matches in the past. I hope that they get their act together and they learn from all their mistakes(and boy there are a lot of them....) and they become focused on wrestling because if they don't then it is a waste of talent.
Memories of Christopher Street? - They were really over for two pillow bitters. They were very entertaining and had a good run. I enjoyed our matches and was a little skeeved out at times b/c of the way they would look at Havok and I. We didn't know if they wanted to fight or shag....but either way we had good entertaining matches. Actually one of my favorite matches as part of the Solution wais a 3 way match b/w DRS, CSC, and the Solution in USAPW.....a real classic...
Memories of Guapo? - Guapo is an underrated competitor and a great talker. He never sugar coats anything. He is a straight shooter. He has the gift of doing amazing things with bolny and a La Parka mask(inside joke). I enjoy the Knuckleduster tag team he recently formed w Boogalou & Julius Smokes and I see a right future for the team. He needs to get his ass to training though......(he knows what I mean)
Memories of Louie Ramos? - Louie is the man. If everyone was like Louie Ramos in this business the business would be better off. He and I had a 30 minute match at the Doghouse that we both enjoyed and beating him gave me my first title ever(LiWF TV Title). The only man that I know that beat up people with a barbed wire dildo...... His matches with Jay lover in JAPW early in my career were some of the sickest things I have ever seen.
Memories of Julius Smokes? -Julius Smokes is the most charismatic performer I have ever seen. He is like a black Dusty rhoades. We had some good matches and he has a sick piledriver. He is the epitome of old school wrestling. I heard that he likes to spread cheese on crackers too....
Memories of Wrecka? -Wrecka was cool, but he was a kiss ass. Memories of Bison Bravado? -The undefeated ROH superstar Bison Bravado.....he is the former WXW champion and current Entermains cookie champ.... He is the only guy man that Wo-Hop wants to turn away....hahahha Seriously. Bison is a cool dude. I have had fun riding up and down the road with him on road trips.
Memories of Devious & Tekno Heat? -Good guys, had some great on the fly matches with them in USAPW when I was in the Solution.
Memories of Elm Street Kids? -Cool peeps that needed real wrestling gear. They party like rock stars and like to throw furniture into the pool...
Memories of Jac Sabboth's ICW? -I had fun working for Jack. Had some fun matches in ICW and the Doghouse took over a portion of the Elks and it became our locker room when we did his and Goodman's shows. Also Jack never stiffed us on pay......he was always straight with Havok and I and treated us good.
Memories of Boogie Knights? -Drake and Tobin are awesome!!!!! we had a great feud with them and had fun kicking the crap out of them in their Cobra Kai Karate Kid gee gear....lol I had fun wrestling with them
Memories of Striker? -Striker is a great wrestler and great commentator. i had fun wrestling him and he is a real student of the game. Has a ton of knowledge and tons of skill. Matt is the only man who can pull off wearing dirty timberlands and sweats and still look like he is on the cover of GQ. He is jealous of me because I am better looking.....lol Memories of Demanto & K Matthews? -They are knuckleheads that have come a long way..... had fun kicking the crap out of them over and over again Memories of Valentina? -cool girl
Memories of Xtacy? -cool chic that manged us in ICW
Memories of Damian Dragon & Foxy? -Damian & Foxy are cool people. Damian and I have great chemistry and really enjoy the matches we had. He is very talented and underrated. Memories of Crazy Ivan? -He is a cool dude that had tons of heat becuse of what he said in the ring. Memories of Nana? -Holy shit his chops hurt.....haha. seriously he is a good friend of mine and an excellent excellent performer both as a wrestler and as a manger. The WWE or TNA should hire him and bring back managers.
Memories of Xavier? -Great physique, great wrestler and a good guy. I hope he has success in MMA.
Memories of Abunai? -Nice guy with a cool mask.
Memories of Red/SAT? -the SAT and Red are cool guys. I enjoyed wrestling them and enjoyed training with them.
Memories of Deranged? -Tons of potential and had fun knocking him out in training....lol
Memories of Ghost Shadow? Cool dude who loved Lucha Libre.
Memories of Goodman's USA Pro? -had some fun wrestling for Frank. Had the opportunity to wrestle Chris Candido and Bam Bam Bigelow in USAPW.
Memories of Carmine's SSCW? -Never met Carmine.......enjoyed wrestling for SSCW.
Memories of Ricky O? - Gave me my first break outside the Doghouse and for that forever be grateful. Enjoyed JCW and NWANJ.
Memories of Dave Greco? -cool guy that has a lot of heart.
Memories of Shawn Sheridan? -cool dude, enjoy our matches.
Memories of Simon Diamond? - Simon is the man!!!! I enjoyed wrestling alongside him and for him when he was booking JCW. He taught me a lot and I am lucky to had him teach me about the business both in and out the ring. He is one of Pro-Wrestling's greatest minds.
Memories of winning JAP tg belts? -It was cool being JAPW champs and I wish we had more established tag teams to face when we were the champs
Memories of Dixie? -Good wrestler that i enjoyed wrestling. Nice guy.
Memories of Corvis Fear & Rush Margera? -Cool guys, enjoyed beating them up.lol...
Memories of Dickie & Mason? -enjoyed wrestling them and wish we could of done more.
Memories of Tyler Payne? -nice guy and really enjoyed the match Havok and I had with him and Wayne. We had tons of heat and didnt touch each other for the first 10 minutes of the match....it was electrifying...
Memories of Braggiol? -For a man his size Braggiol is an amazing wrestler and has a vast amount of agility. i never seen anyone so big move so well.
Memories of Angus'? -good guys, dumb as a pile of bricks
Memories of Burma & Spinelli? -BSX was a great team. Burma is the master of the hot hand and is the man and has a great mind for the business. He and I go back a long time, all the way to teh Doghouse. Spinelli was awesome and I had fun wretsling him. He is the president of the GNR fan club.....
Memories of your match with Havok with John Shane as ref? -Great build up but bad match. The match wasn't bad but we had the wrong type of match for the scenario/angle we had at the time. I enjoyed our match that we had in NWA Shockwave much much better. Actually it was a 3 way b/w Josh Daniels, Havok, & I where I won the NWA Shockwave Internet and Heavyweight Championship.
Memories of Mana? -Man is a good friend and I enjoyed our matches.
Memories of 3 way with Spyder & Teddy Fine? -ehhhh it was ok.
Memories of Scampi? -cool dude, funny gimmick until it got old...
Memories of Barry? -nice guy, had fun wrestling him. He was very talented but had a horrible physique. Which I believed hurt him from elevating his career.
Memories of Jerry Lynn? - a very good friend and a tremendous wrestler. i enjoyed the matches we had as a tag team and against each other. I want to wrestle him again and this time have a real technical match that will rock the fans and blow them away.
Memories of Mikey? -What can I say he is my mentor. I was extremely lucky to have had him take me under his wing and continue my training with him. He is an amazing person and an amazing wrestler. I truly enjoyed wrestling him and hope to have that honor again. I always said that the best talent in the Northeast was trained by either Homicide or Mickey and I have had the privilege and honor of being trained by both. Hence becoming the Greek God of Pro-Wrestling and the GREATEST WRESTLER ALIVE......hahahahaha....they created a monster...GOOD EVENING!!!!
Memories of Psycho Circus '06? -Freakin Insane
Memories of Psycho Funkin' Circus? _Awesome Terry funk is an Icon and having the opportunity to work with him was amazing.

Memories of feud with Francis? -Francis is a tough little needle face nerd.....I enjoyed kicking the crap out of him. I enjoyed making him wear the infamous crimson mask during our Strainght out of Compton street fight.
Memories of Silver? -Silver is a great wrestler with alot of potential. I enjoyed our previous match and will enjoyed making him bow to the Greek God on March 13th.
Memories of matches with Storm? -I truly enjoyed my feud with Storm He is one of the best wrestlers I ever had the opportunity to wrestle with. The feud was one of my favorites ever. Hope to do it again. He is one of my favorite opponents to ever have the honor to face in the squared circle.
Memories of matches with Josh? -Josh is amazing and should of been signed by WWE or TNA a long time ago. he is one of my favorite if not my favorite opponent that I ever faced and every time we face off against each other we steal the show.
Memories of Reynolds? -Great athlete, great head for the business, great wrestler. He is continuing my legacy making the Interstate Championship mean something. Plus he is my financial adviser

Curse Great business man and great leader
Crusher Malenko taught him well
Forge THREE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Big Daddy Great family man and person
Goodman Maniac
Sabboth Impact Cup
Fat Frank Funny as hell, good guy
Mike Morgan hard worker who can make things happen
ROH Purest form of Pro-Wrestling Needs a Greek god
VPW
What do you think of those who fake post on message boards? I think they should get a life and enjoy Pro-Wrestling for what it is, a hybrid of entertainment and sports
Thoughts on NYWC board? more people need to be on it because it is a good board
Do you think wrestling will have another boom? Only when Vince McMahon wakes up and sees that people want quality wrestling and not just tall guys who cant wrestle or when he hires the Greek God Papadon.......which ever comes first...lol
Compare the indies in 2000 to now. Wasn't a real factor in the indies in 2000. Even though I had my first match in July 1999, I branched out of the LIWF in 2001 so can't tell you.....sorry
Where do you see yourself in 5 years? Hopefully on TV and healthy and still wrestling
Anything you would like to say to the fans? Thank you for all your supprot and hate and continue to support Pro-Wrestling and NYWC. Especially NYWC because they are the best thing going today. Now get on your knees and bow to the Master of the Mat aka THE GREATEST WRESTLER ALIVE TODAY.......The Greek God Papadon
Memories of Masters Of The Mat match? The match was a great idea. I thought the point system was unique and the match definitely had 4 of the best technical wrestlers on the planet today in it (Bruno Marciano, Josh Daniels, Quiet Storm, & myself). It was a lot of fun because the people were entertained with wrestling for a half an hour and that’s it. It was Pro-Wrestling in its purest form. Of course I won because let’s face it….I’m the GREEK GOD and THE BEST TECHNICAL WRESTLER ALIVE TODAY!!!!
Memories of Matias? Young Fury Has a lot of potential…..should have NEVER cut his hair!!!!
Memories of match with Mike Donovan in JWE(formerly Prestige Wrestling)? That match was fun, first time I ever wrestled Mike and I enjoyed it. I just wish more than 10 people came to see it, but that’s indy wrestling.
Memories of 3 way with Mo & Bobby Fish in JWE? That match was really fun, first time I ever wrestled Mo. Bobby and I have great chemistry and he is really underrated as a talent. I enjoyed it.
Thoughts on Big Jose as a promoter? Jose is a nice guy; I wish him lots of luck with his company.
Memories of winning NYWC title? A defining moment in my career. A dream come true. It is an honor to be on a list with all the great talent that have held the NYWC Championship. The match itself with maverick was awesome. Maverick is very very talented and he and I have amazing chemistry. This is the start of what I believe is the greatest feud in NYWC history. I fulfilled the prophecy and cemented my legacy as THE GRETEAST NYWC CHAMPION OF ALL TIME…..
Memories of match with Buck in Port Jeff? It was a solid match with a lot of back and forth action. It was the first time Pat and I had a singles match. I enjoyed it and Pat is a great wrestler.
Memories of Rapid Fire? Another great concept for a match. Had fun showing the world that I can outlast the test of time and overcome and defeat my opponents that night to retain my title
Memories of Dog Collar match at Chained? What a brutal brutal match. Maverick and I kicked the crap out of each other and added another chapter to NYWC’s greatest feud. Even though that piece of crap cheated to retain his title the match was great and I enjoyed giving the fans their monies worth.
Thoughts on Jac Sabboth brining back ICW? Jack is a good guy and I am happy he is back with ICW. If he keeps his head on straight he will do just fine. I am happy that I am part of both NYWC and ICW. Two great companies that offer the fans great wrestling.
Memories of your match with Maff at Holy Cross HS? It was good until Maff realized I outshined him and he can’t hang with me in the ring and he had to cheat to win. He held my tights and rolled me up. On 10/22/10 he will pay for his sins when I kick his teeth down his throat and make him BOWWWWW to the GREEK GOD!!!!
Memories of Pinkie? Pinkie is a cool dude and a good high flyer
Memories of Christopher Daniels? Chris is amazing in the ring. In my opinion Chris should have been a world champion in ROH or TNA a long time ago. Actually if Uncle Vince was smart he would sign Christopher Daniels. It is an honor to team with him and it’s a no brainer to team a ”Fallen Angel” with a “Greek God”…… Honestly as much fun and as good as Chris and I are as a team I believe a feud between the two of us will be AMAZING and have the fans on the edge of their seats wanting more
Memories of Balls? This question should be for Ric Cataldo…… Oh you mean Balls Mahoney….. Wrestling Balls was fun, we had a good match, would love to do it again.
Memories of match with Benny in Long Beach? the match was good but could have been better, Benny was really really sick and still was able to pull out a good match. Speaks a lot about Benny’s untapped potential. Would like to wrestle him when he is healthy because we would tear it up for the NYWC fans
Memories of Harley Race's WLW? Harley Race is a real class act and his promotion is a reflection of that as well. I had fun wrestling Joe Henning(Michael McGuilicuty) and Superstar Steve while I was there. Would love to wrestle there again. There isn’t many places on the indies that are great places to work but WLW, ICW, and especially NYWC are some of the best places to work on the indies.
Memories of you & Havok vs. Harris' in TNA dark match? Wrestling the Harris Brothers in TNA when they were in TN was a great experience. The match was fun . Many people in the locker room where impressed that we went back and forth with the Harris brothers in our match. They are great guys. Havok and I also wrestled CM Punk and Julio Dinero in another TNA dark match in TN and that was fun as well.
Is there anyone in wrestling you would like to face that you haven't faced yet? There are plenty of people I would like to wrestle. From WWE, TNA, ROH, the indies & internationally. I am a student of the game and would like to wrestle anyone that will make me a better wrestler and can give the fans their monies worth. I can’t just pick one person.
