Ryan/Jethro was a fun opener. More Jethro in the ring please. Braggiol/Syther vs. Stockade/Crowley was a great tag match. The 4 way was pretty good and I was surpised that Silver won. From what I saw the heavyweight title was pretty good. Papadon/Francis was like a squash to me. NFL/High Society turned into an 8 man tag with the additions of Maxwell & referee Victor Cruz. The hi-fi title would have been better if Eckos didn't attack Silver before it stated. The tag title was pretty good.
Results: Ryan Rush def. Jethro
Stockade & Dameon Crowley def. Syther & Joey Braggiol
John Silver def. Bruno, Josh, & "Platinum" Pat Buck
Maverick def. Storm
Latinos & referee Victor Cruz def. High Society including Maxwell
Eckos def. Silver
Saints def. Rednex to win the tag belts
Personal Notes Thank you Maverick for taking a picture with me.
Thank you to that young man from AM New York for doing a little interview with me.
That same young man thought those 2 kids sitting next to me were mine lol.
Where was Forge & Dirty Cherry?
That Chinese restaurant on Roosevelt Avenue has some good chicken lo mein.

This was a fun show. As I was coming down the bleachers, Atlas Security was telling these guys in the front row "come on guys let's go". I think Atlas needs to have some consideration about the fans leaving when the show ends. Perhaps those guys were letting the crowd die out so it would be easier for them to leave.

I really liked this show. I sat in the back bleachers, but was dealing with a few emergencies as well.
Rush & Jethro was a decent opener, and it allows BTR to stay in the title hunt.
The tag match between Stockade/Crowley & Syther/Braggiol was very good. Syther has so much charisma in terms of character. I can only hope the NYWC captializes on this.
The four-way match was decent, and no man came out looking bad. Pat Buck's schtick with the timekeeper was funny, and it made you just want to boo him. I honestly felt bad for him.
Maverick/Storm was a good match. Storm played the heel well, and it might serve him in the future if he was to heel it up. Maverick is a great champion, and I can't wait to see his major feud for the year.
The NFL & Victor Cruz against High Society was a great way to get Cruz in as a wrestler. Cruz proved he has ability, and I can't wait to see where he goes from here. A little something I caught after the match as High Society leaving; Blake Morris gave a hard shove to the timekeeper (Scott something or other...) and the timekeeper looked like he was ready to snap. Larry Legend had to hold him back. Probably doesn't mean anything, but just a little fun tidbit that I caught.
Papadon and Francis was good, even if it was just to make Papadon a threat to the title. I hope its Papadon and Maverick somewhere down the road.
The Saints winning the belts just felt right considering they're the hometown heroes. Michael Mansfield nearly knocked the timekeepr on his ass. Poor guy, just doing his job.
Anyway, I enjoyed this show, as the NYWC is being consistent with great wresting and characters. I'll be at Going The Distance, and just maybe I can help Traci Brooks get over Kaz.

What a great show NYWC does it again.
The tag team of Stockade/Crowley was over powering to say the least and will be a team to be reckoned with Crowley and Stockade proved that brute force and malice are a great combination i still think this match could have gone a little longer. Stockade took out Joey Braggiole with a killer spear while Crowley desimated Syther with an insane finisher
Maverick v. Storm was a hard hitting high energy match from start to finish that ended with Maverick hitting his signiture 450 off the top for the win to keep his title
I personally enjoyed the match between the NFL & High Society the most, after the NFL revealed the Alex Reynolds pictures from the Maxwell photo shoot to the public what was supposed to be a 6 man tag turned into an 8 man tag match when Benny Martinez introduced once referee Victor Cruz as the newest member of the NFL. This kid was quite impressive, intense from begining to end & watching him in the ring its easy to see that hes got alot of promise and he'll go far under the teachings of Benny & Spyder.
NYWC has proved over and over again that this is the place to be and that this is where wrestlers are made and discovered. NYWC has certainly produced future champions in guys like Deamon Crowley, Matias and Victor Cruz, look to see these guys wearing NYWC gold in the near future.
